A well-designed office space for the stewards of the parks.
Seattle Parks & Recreation Tenant Improvement
Seattle, WA
After working in an office space for over 20 years, a space that the city leased and was in need of delayed maintenance, the Seattle Parks & Recreation’s administrative divisions found a new home in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. The new office is now home to the divisions of Planning and Development, Engineering, Real Estate, and Business Operations. A cross-town move from three floors in Seattle’s China Town to a 23,000 sq. ft. one level office space in Queen Anne, this tenant improvement was one of the largest move’s in the 30 plus year history of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services, Kennedy’s home base department at the time and the construction capital project management division of the city.
