Capital Project Manager in the Planning, Design + Construction Division of the Office of Facilities Management. Responsible for Managed the preparation and developed space plans/drawings with respective preliminary cost estimates, using a Project Estimator I developed. Managed a portfolio of historic preservation projects: façade maintenance, fire escape maintenance, and roof maintenance.

  • Managed the Façade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) at Pratt’s Pantas Residence Hall and historic properties: Higgins Hall (1868, 1871), Main Building (1885), East Hall. This program included fire escape maintenance and roof repairs.

  • Managed temporary sidewalk shoring at Higgins Hall.

  • Managed the window repair and replacement of over 100 window openings at two historic buildings: Machinery Building (1908 - 1928) and Engineering Building (1908 - 1928).

  • Prepared project schedules and cost estimates from scopes of work, estimates, and drawings. Used Asana to develop tasks for scheduling purposes. Developed and managed multiple project scopes and budgets simultaneously. Assessed impacts of design/construction/move changes and schedule slippages.

  • Reviewed consultant and contractor scopes, budgets, and schedules.

  • Managed the campus-wide move of 98 instruction rooms in 13 buildings for Fall 2020 semester.

  • Consolidated the project cost estimate report process into one EXCEL Project Estimator with unit cost information for hard costs, soft costs, and FF&E.

  • Developed a Project Intake Form in Asana, streamlining the project intake process.

  • Managed the campus-wide move of COVID-compliant instruction rooms for the Fall 2020 semester.

  • Developed the Pratt Design Standards - a multi-chapter architecture and engineering design manual organized by CSI division. This work built upon existing research.

  • Saved Pratt Institute approximately $40,000 in consultant fees by preparing a bid set for window sash rehabilitation at two Pratt facilities. Project halted due to COVID.

  • Pioneered the use of Asana, a web-based project management tool, in the Division. Celebrated by my Director and team for using Asana to manage projects.
