Historic Surveys
Applying formal training from the University of Illinois in surveying historic structures, Kennedy has professionally surveyed over 100 structures. The text used in coursework was How to Complete the Ohio Historic Survey as well as National Park Service Technical Notes. Properties surveyed include those on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
Completed Survey Work
Wayne County, Indiana (2010) … Documented 100+ historic buildings, bridges, and cemeteries on field inventory forms.
Seattle (2017) … Streamlined the physical condition assessment of existing windows and doors, using BlueBeam, and trained co-workers on how to survey windows. Surveyed over 500 wood windows and created a survey form to document existing conditions of windows and doors at West Vancouver Barracks and Franklin High School, all on the NRHP.
Elkins + Beverly, WV (2010) … survey of windows at the Andrew Collett House / Civil War Union Hospital (c. 1772) and the Riverside High School, both on the NRHP.
